Practice on Construction of Simulation Material Data Ecosystem

EXTENDED ABSTRACT: Simulation material data plays a core role in CAE simulation business. They provide a scientiffc basis for simulating the behavior of products in the real world, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of simulation results. Without accurate material data, simulation analysis may lead to design limitations, errors, and delays, increasing costs. Accurate material property data enables engineers to predict product performance during the design phase, optimize designs, reduce the need for physical prototypes, shorten R&D cycles, reduce costs, and enhance the market competitiveness of products. Therefore, the standardization and availability of CAE simulation material data are crucial for driving technological innovation and improving product quality.However, the lack of effective data sharing mechanisms and platforms leads to severe data silos, making it difffcult to achieve data interoperability and utilization. On the other hand, the standardization and structuring of material data are key to building a database, but domestic efforts in this area are relatively lagging, necessitating the establishment of uniffed data standards and structured frameworks. Building a simulation material database requires interdisciplinary knowledge and technical support, including materials science, computer science, data science, etc., and requires strong engineering construction capabilities.
